Blackwell School Exes and Friends:

 

The Blackwell School Alliance is very busy working on fundraisers to continue our mission to restore the last remaining building of the Blackwell School (The Harper Building). We have obtained a Texas Historical Marker designating Blackwell School as an official part of Texas History.

 

Plans are underway for a dedication ceremony at the Blackwell School grounds, during Labor Day Weekend. It will be a homecoming to dedicate the historical marker and the (hopefully finished) front façade of the Blackwell School Building.

 

More information will be available in the next couple of months. We are excited about our progress and are looking forward to your support and presence and especially your monetary support. Thank you for your support.
